Your display time zone has no effect on bidding. We place all snipes using Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). This setting only allows users to display auction finish dates in their local time.

In order to change your display time zone, follow the directions below.

1. Login to your account.
2. Show the Account menu by clicking on the user icon.
3. Click on Edit Profile.
4. Please just scroll down to the Preferences section.
5. Select your time zone from the Auction Display Time Zone dropdown.
6. Click the Save button.

eBay Website Time

By default, we display all auction finish times based on the eBay server you selected when you linked your account.  If you would like to use this setting, after making a time zone change, select the first option, "eBay Website Time ( default )," from the dropdown in step 5 above.
